Biography

After founding Davidson Andrade, a successful hedge fund company with over $35 million in assets, Ms. Davidson discovered that even high net worth investors often lacked basic financial education around how to effectively manage their assets. She began doing workshops for her clients to address the gaps in their financial knowledge, and what began as a free workshop each month quickly took on a life of its own as clients recommended the workshops to friends, co-workers, and family members. Soon, Davidson was faced with a choice: To continue growing her hedge fund or to start an unbiased financial education company so she could deliver the education as a service of its own, free of any conflict of interest.

In 1999, Davidson left the hedge fund business to officially start Financial Finesse, a company dedicated to helping Americans achieve financial independence and security, through financial education that is entirely unbiased and free of any conflict of interest.

In 2000, the company began delivering its first workshops to large, Fortune 500 companies and has expanded from there to become one of the nation’s leading providers of financial education and benefits communication programs for large organizations.

Liz is a prolific public speaker and has been invited to speak at conferences such as National Center For Employee Ownership Annual Conference, Employee Assistance Society of North America Annual Conference, Professional Business Women of California and the Benefits Management Forum and Expo.
