Today morning, the yellow bendy-tailed star, Wubbzy, visited the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the release of their movie “Wubb Idol” on the DVD. Whub Idol is the second animated preschool television series from Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! , which features Beyoncé Knowles as the character “Shine”. The DVD will be available in stores nationwide from October 13th onwards.
Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, is an animated children’s television series created by Emmy award-winning Bob Boyle, who is also the producer of “The Fairly OddParents” and “Danny Phantom” featured on Nickelodeon. This animated series was produced in Burbank, California by Bolder Media for Boys and Girls, Inc. in association with Film Roman (a Starz Media, LLC Company). This popular television series debuted on August 2008 in Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. in the United States.
Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, features an innocent and cheerful little guy named Wubbzy, along with his three pals - Daizy, Widget, and Walden. All four of them live in an imaginative charming world of Wuzzleburg. The star, Wubbzy, likes to spend most of his time having fun by chasing flutterflys, eating ice cream, and playing kickity-kickball. When Wubbzy runs into trouble, he always calls upon his three friends for advice and help. This series features the character “Widget” as a helpful mechanical whiz who owns and runs a fix-it shop, whose solution to problems is to build something big and sophisticated and the character “Walden” as an intellect who finds wisdom and knowledge from tarot card reading to ancient philosophy. Moreover, Walden has a unique way in looking at the world that is filled with passion and curiosity, but his brainy approach does not produce wise and practical results most of the time.
This television series helps in supporting the social skills of children like to share, listen, compromise, help, appreciate others, and to build a sense of humor. The characters in this program face the same developmental and interpersonal issues that every preschool child faces. By watching this program, preschool children would learn how to fit into a social group and also understand their feeling and feelings of others, which is very essential in childhood development.
The program is a great success through the efforts of a creative team from Bolder Media and Film Roman.
